Through the confirmation made by its CEO, Huawei successfully marketed the Mate 10 Series which was released last year. It is said, this smartphone has sold more than 10 million units and there should be the next generation that will be released soon.
No need to wait long, Huawei officially confirmed that they would release Mate 20 Series on October 16, 2018 in London . Although the location is different from the launch of the Mate 10 Series, it seems like it is a tradition for Huawei to introduce its new smartphone in Europe.
There are two 20 Series Mate smartphones that will be introduced, the Mate 20 and Mate 20 Pro . Both will be Huawei’s first smartphones with the Kirin 980 brain which has just been announced. This is also the first 7nm chipset in the world.
Mate 20 hardware specifications have been leaked a few weeks ago. This smartphone will also come with a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen that has a resolution of 2,244 x 1,080 pixels. Mentioned, Huawei will also package the screen with bangs similar to OPPO F9 or so-called “waterdrop”.
On the back, Huawei is also said to be pinning three cameras like Huawei P20 Pro, but all three of them have different configurations. Mate 20 will also be supported by 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal storage .
For the affairs of its power supply, this smartphone is also expected to be powered by a 4,200 mAh battery and runs with the Android 9 Pie operating system . Other support that is no less interesting is charging wirelessly.
