Totally crazy Samsung phone: Such a Galaxy smartphone has never been

Posted on

Samsung’s high-end smartphones look like the Galaxy S9 , Galaxy S9 Plus or Galaxy Note 9 have a maximum of two cameras on the back. A few days ago, the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) unveiled a Samsung cell phone with a camera on the back for the first time. And soon the South Korean company wants to reload again. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro wants to have four cameras on the back. When arranging the cameras, the company should orient itself on the new Galaxy A7 and simply add a fourth sensor. The new Samsung phone should look like this:

The colleagues from AllAboutSamsung have not published the information on the quad camera, but also made a render image. The arrangement of the cameras looks totally crazy, right? But how do you want to do it? Much more important than the design of the smartphone are the functions and properties of the sensors:

  • 8 MP wide angle sensor with 120 degrees
  • 24-MP main sensor
  • 10 MP telephoto lens
  • 5 MP camera for depth measurement

This should not just succeed in normal photos, but also selfies, so at the front there is a 24-MP camera is installed.

All this is reminiscent of the triple camera of the Samsung Galaxy A7 (2018) – only with zoom function. It will be interesting to see if the picture quality is right. Many high resolution sensors still do not guarantee good quality.

Other features of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro include a 6.28-inch Super AMOLED display with FHD + resolution. The Android smartphone is powered by the Snapdragon 660 processor. Information about the RAM or internal memory is still missing. It is already known that the battery will have a capacity of 3,720 mAh. In combination with the middle-class hardware, such long runtimes could be possible.

The official launch of the Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Pro is expected on October 11th. Samsung has already announced an event with the motto “4x FUN”. Would fit to an Android smartphone with quadruple camera on the back. What do you think?
