The Mi 8 Lite was officially introduced in mid-September with three variants , the most basic and cheap with 4 GB + 64 GB, a second model with 6 GB + 64 GB and the last with a combination of 6 GB + 128 GB. Now, a few months after the launch of the first Mi8 Lite cam, Xiaomi announces a new mid-range variant to offer more versatility to the brand’s fans who are eyeing the device.
The new version was announced for the Chinese market and has 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage, but all other specs of the device follow the same: 6.22 inch screen with notch, FHD + resolution and 19: 9 aspect ratio, 3.350 mAh battery with fast charging and all other requirements.
The model also arrives with the same processor already revealed: the Snapdragon 660, known to be located between intermediate and high performance chips. In addition we have an Adreno 512 GPU, dual rear camera with main 12 MP (f / 1.9) and secondary 5 MP (f / 2.4), and the front camera of 24 MP.

The new version of the Mi 8 Lite arrives in China on November 16 and there is no official information regarding the price charged by the manufacturer, but it is likely to be fixed between 1699 yuan (~ 919 yuan) and 1999 (~ ) yuan, models values of 6GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB, respectively.
It is worth remembering that Xiaomi has already marked an event that will be held in New York in December and that is expected to start the Chinese giant’s sales in US soil officially. The company is likely to introduce Mi Mix 3 in the US and possibly other models of the brand.
