Sony releases November security package for Xperia XZ Premium

Posted on

The Sony Xperia XZ Premium is the top of the line that the company brought to the mobile market during the year 2017, having as main differential its attractive quality cameras for users, although it was wrong to not make available a option with 128 GB , just as the competition was doing. Recently the smartphone received the update of its security package for the month of November , showing that Sony will keep the device in its list of priorities for updates for a while.

The update whose build number is 47.2.A.2.33 arrived only for the flagship, not parallel to the Xperia XZ1 and XZ1 Compact as previously done, which may indicate a “retirement of updates” for the devices. It is worth remembering that XZ Premium started to receive the Android Pie a few days ago here in Brazil , so the changes that Google released in this package may be linked directly to the system version, so this may be the justification for the other two smartphones not having received the update.
