Sony is preparing Xperia with six rear cameras

HMD Global flagship smartphone , the Nokia 9 PureView is currently still a smartphone that is supported with the most rear camera sensors. Well! If this report can be trusted, Sony will likely take the “seat” occupied by the Global HMD.

Yes! A recent report says that currently Sony is developing a new Xperia smartphone that will have six camera sensors on the back. Even so, this is still limited to rumors and there is no valid information, such as the configuration of each sensor loaded.

This report also has a rear camera sensor rendering, but this is only a mock-up. As for the cameras that face the future, this smartphone is also expected to come with the support of two camera sensors for photographing selfies.

While the exact details of the rear camera settings of this Sony smartphone remain a mystery. But it is believed, this Japanese electronics manufacturer will include a telephoto lens with a separate, super wide angle lens.

Given the recent popularity of Time-of-Flight (ToF) sensors, one of these sensors can be a candidate that is loaded by Sony into this smartphone. While the remaining two, potentially become a monochrome lens to improve detail in low-light conditions.

Sony itself has recently released Xperia 1. This smartphone comes with a 6.5 inch OLED Cinema screen. The screen, powered by Bravia TV technology and the Master Monitor, brings support for 4K resolution, aka 3,840 x 1,644 pixels and is protected by Gorilla Glass 6.

Sony Xperia 1 has been provided with three camera settings on the back. The configuration is 12 MP as the main lens supported by an f / 1.6 aperture with a 5-axis OIS Dual Pixel PDAF, 12 MP as a telephoto lens with an aperture of f / 2.4 and 12 MP as an ultra-wide lens with an f / 2.4 aperture.

This smartphone is also equipped with a selfie-camera with 8 MP sensor. Meanwhile for the kitchen, Sony has equipped the Xperia 1 with the Snapdragon 855 chipset and supports 6 GB RAM and 128 GB of internal storage.

For its power supply, this Japanese electronics manufacturer has buried a battery of 3,300 mAh and supports fast charging, aka fast 18W via USB-C. This smartphone also arrived with the Android 9 operating system aka Pie.
