Asus ROG Phone II was presented just a few days ago but the Taiwanese company has already “hit” the mark when it comes to smartphone gaming sales . The market is Chinese and it seems that users are in a hurry to own the second generation of this device.
If on the large JD.com sales site the bookings (so as to be able to buy the smartphone) have reached 2.5 million units, in the case of the first “flash sale” of ASUS ROG Phone II the first lot was completely sold out of smartphones in a matter of seconds.
More precisely, 10,000 units were sold in 73 seconds . Now ASUS will try to make it possible to meet the demand in another three days of the month of August so as to try to make the most of the interest around the new ASUS ROG Phone II and then making additional lots available for this model.
Clearly we will not reach the total sales of solutions better known to consumers such as the iPhoneor the Galaxy S series models, but considering that this is a very special product, the result obtained is certainly interesting in terms of market and direct competition (like that by Razer Phone, Black Shark and others).
Recall that the new ASUS ROG Phone II takes advantage of the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus processor that can offer an increase in performance compared to the standard version. The Taiwanese producer was the first to market a model with this SoC.
The front screen has a diagonal of 6.59 “ and uses an OLED panel with FHD + resolution, at 120 Hz refresh (the touch part has a 240 Hz refresh instead) and HDR10 support.
Continuing with the specifications of ASUS ROG Phone II , the RAM reaches 12 GB while the 512 GB storage with UFS 3.0 technology. The battery instead has a capacity of 6000 mAh able to guarantee a good autonomy even when used as a portable gaming unit. The two rear cameras are 48 MPixel and 13 MPixel while the front camera has a resolution of 24 MPixels.
